I humbly thank those who have expressed their appreciation with my work to raise beautiful, healthy English style Golden Retrievers.  I hope they bring everyone many years of joy and happiness.  I don't quite have words for how much it fills my heart when I hear back from folks to know that my research, planning, investment, care, testing, hard work, sacrifices and sleepless nights...and did I mention cleaning?... has given them and the dogs so much joy, but it's why I do what I do.  Please stay in touch!  Blessings, Laura.

Hope you are doing well. I’m reaching out just with praise. We got our dog Bo (Bodie) from you three years ago May 2023 Goldie’s litter. He is not only show stoppingly beautiful (gorgeous coat & head) he also has the temperament you dream of when getting a dog. He rolls with whatever we are doing whether tucking into his bed while we are on a conference call or outdoor play all day with tons of chaos. He loves to swim, he’s quiet as to say only barks when there is a reason like person approaching property unexpectedly (not the delivery guys, he can discern the difference). He’s been able to not only help one kid but so many of my kids school mates and siblings who are afraid of dogs now love/want Bo. He’s truly a wonderful dog and with two kids at 3 & 5 when we got him and now 6 & 8 he has been nothing but an easy, loving, ready to have fun but when you’re ready dog. He’s never had bad behaviors like cheating, digging, whining, barking or aggression. Admittedly he occasionally pulls on a leash when excited and isn’t the best at drop when playing fetch (our fault the kids accidentally taught him ‘keep away’ in the beginning) Anyways just sharing with you he’s in excellent health (not overweight either), fabulous personality, gorgeous features and is just a really wonderful dog. So just a quick note of appreciation on how much we value the quality and care in what you do. Thank you for our amazing family member. -Holly B.

Hello, just wanted to let you know we had our first vet appointment today and Cooper was a big hit there. All the girls turned to mush with his adorableness. Vet says he looks great and we did rabies, bordetella and first lepto. Vet says we need to wait until Cooper is 1 year before we neuter. We love him. He knows his name and has discovered sleeping on our bed. Will send pictures in separate email. Thank you again, our hearts are happy. -Lori & Ken

 

"We got our boy from Tradition Kennels in Arlington (now Chehalis). Can't say enough good things about them...or our dog. My wife is an elementary school principal and she uses him as a therapy animal. He works around 350 kids every day and is an amazing asset to the school. (See picture of Suhka on our "About Golden Retrievers" page.)

Before we picked him up they did a focused temperament test on all the pups in his litter to determine which one had the best natural disposition for his line of work. They communicated regularly during the pregnancy and into puppyhood. The bloodlines are excellent, no hip or joint issues, no heart problems, very healthy dogs. Sukha is 3 now, and we haven't had any major issues with his health. He learns quickly, loves almost everybody, and is a great friend. And he's happy, joyful, silly and quite the clown. I laugh at something does every day!

Its not the main point, but more than once I've gotten the comment that he is the most beautiful Golden Retriever people have ever seen.
